Day 1: TRANSFER FROM NAIROBI TO MWINGI NATIONAL RESERVE.
After breakfast, we drive to Mwingi National Reserve, with a great countryside experience, roughly 4 -5 hour’s drive. It lies in the north-eastern lowlands below the Nyambeni hills. Meru forms part of a larger wilderness area along the Tana River, including Bisanadi and Mwingi National Reserves, Kora national park, and Rahole national reserve. The wetter north-western sector is hilly, with rich volcanic soils. Numerous permanent streams cross the Park, and 3 large rivers straddle the reserve: the Tana to the south, the Ura to the south-west, and the Rojeweru to the east. The park was made famous by the writings of Joy Adamson, most noted for her book Born Free, the true story of Elsa, the lioness, and her return into the wild. You will have lunch en-route reaching in the evening and set up your tents as you prepare dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2-3: EXPLORE MWINGI NATIONAL RESERVE
During our days, while having the ’spice’ game drive, the wildlife you are likely to see in Mwingi includes over 400 bird species that have been recorded. You should see Animals that are found in Mwingi national reserve Caracal, elephant, hippo, crocodiles, leopard, lion and several antelope species among others.

Day 4: DRIVE BACK TO NAIROBI.
After your breakfast at the campsite, you will drive back to Nairobi reaching early afternoon and dropped at your hotel in Nairobi as you conclude your 4 days tour to Mwingi National Reserve.
