This 3 Days Serengeti National Park Safari is strategically crafted for travelers with limited time in Arusha who seek a high-impact wildlife experience without compromising quality. The program focuses on maximizing game viewing opportunities in the iconic Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated ecosystems and a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vast plains, exceptional predator population, and the Great Migration. Accompanied by experienced, English-speaking professional guides, you will explore diverse habitats ranging from open savannah to riverine forests and rocky kopjes. The safari offers outstanding opportunities to encounter the Big Five, large herds of herbivores, and abundant birdlife, all within a carefully structured timeframe that ensures efficiency and comfort. For enhanced convenience, this 3 Days Serengeti National Park Safari can also be operated as a fly-in safari. On the morning of Day 1, you will board a scheduled light aircraft flight from Arusha to one of the Serengeti’s airstrips, significantly reducing travel time and allowing you to begin your game drive shortly after arrival. On Day 3, after a final morning safari experience, you will fly back to Arusha. This seamless air transfer option optimizes your time on the ground, delivering an immersive and rewarding Serengeti adventure within just three days.
Day by Day
Day 1
Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your hotel by 7:00 am in Arusha. Following a brief introduction, your guide will direct you to your awaiting jeep in which you will begin your memorable African safari. You will drive to Serengeti National Park which is roughly a 6 hours’ drive, with a visit to up the crater highlands, stopping at the stunning sceneries of the Maasai steep, the escapement of the Lake Manyara National Park and the rim for a spectacular view of the Ngorongoro Crater and continuing as far as the eye can see, the vast view of the Serengeti. You will go with your packed lunch, before you drive into Serengeti National Park, to kick off your game drive, in search for the wildlife of the day. Serengeti means “endless plain” and is inhabited by more than 2 million wildebeest and other wildlife. From January to April the wildebeest, plains zebra, and Thomson’s gazelle give birth to their calves. Large predators including lion, cheetah, and hyena are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey that migrates throughout the park. Many smaller animals like rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, mongoose, honey badger, jackal, monkey, baboon, and African hare also inhabit the area. There are also over 500 species of birds. Picnic lunch will be served at the park, thereafter continue on a game drive en-route towards the center of the park, the best valley that displays various species of wildlife because of its permanent water, as the evening set in, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2
Full game drive in Serengeti
Wake up call at 0600am, have an early morning breakfast and collect your packed lunch then proceed for the early morning game drive, this morning game drive is very important as you will be able to witness the early morning kills from the big five. You will enjoy game drives until noon, and then later you will later on the day have your picnic lunch before proceed for another game drive in the park. Back to your lodge for diner and overnight

Day 3
Game drives in Serengeti and transfer back to Arusha
Wake up call at 0600am, have an early morning breakfast and collect your packed lunch then proceed for the early morning game drive, this morning game drive is very important as you will be able to witness the early morning kills from the big five. You will enjoy game drives until noon, and then later you will later on the day have your picnic lunch before proceed for the last game drive as you head back to Arusha. Arrive in Arusha late afternoon with a drop off to the Hotel of your choice or back to the airport depending on your flight time.
