Your adventure continues in Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destinations. Here, you will enjoy exciting game drives across the park’s expansive savannah plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, and many other wildlife species. Day by Day
guide who will be waiting to receive you. After a brief introduction and assistance with your luggage, you will be transferred to your pre booked hotel in or around Entebbe. The short drive offers a pleasant first glimpse of the area and the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will check in and have time to relax after your journey. The remainder of the evening will be at leisure, with dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will depart on a relaxed scenic drive through Uganda’s verdant countryside toward Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy several brief stops for sightseeing and photography, allowing you to take in the beautiful rural landscapes, rolling hills, and distant countryside views. The journey offers a wonderful introduction to the region’s natural beauty and daily local life. You will arrive at Kibale Forest National Park in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. The evening will be spent relaxing while overlooking the picturesque tea gardens surrounding the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
In the morning, you will depart for the park headquarters to attend a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before proceeding into the forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. As you trek through Kibale Forest, you may also encounter other primate species and diverse wildlife. After this remarkable experience, return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided swamp walk, offering excellent opportunities for primate sightings and bird watching. The walk lasts about two hours. Dinner and overnight at the booked lodge.
After a relaxed breakfast in the morning, you will set off for a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive through the park, where you will have the opportunity to spot a wide variety of wildlife species in their natural habitat. Later, you will proceed to your lodge and take time to relax while enjoying the stunning views of the Kazinga Channel, often dotted with wildlife along its shores. Spend the evening at leisure, perhaps relaxing by the poolside. Dinner and overnight at the booked lodge.
In the early morning, you will set out for an exciting game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Queen Elizabeth National Park. During the drive, you may encounter a variety of animals including lions, leopards, elephants, and several species of antelopes. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for a relaxing boat cruise, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin the scenic drive back to Kampala, enjoying the changing landscapes of rural Uganda along the way. During the journey, you will stop at a local restaurant to enjoy a pleasant lunch and a short break. After lunch, you will continue with the drive as your guide transfers you to your preferred drop off point in Kampala or directly to Entebbe International Airport.
