Throughout the safari, you will enjoy thrilling game drives in search of the iconic African wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, lions, and other remarkable species that inhabit Uganda’s protected areas. The experience also presents a strong opportunity to encounter a wide variety of antelopes, birds, and other fascinating wildlife in their natural environment. A true highlight of this adventure is the chance to meet two of the world’s most captivating primates in their natural habitat. You will trek through the tropical forests of Kibale National Park to observe chimpanzees, known for their lively behavior and close genetic relationship to humans. Day by Day
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional driver guide who will provide a short briefing about your upcoming safari experience. After the briefing, you will begin the transfer to your lodge, enjoying views of the surrounding landscapes along the way. The drive offers a pleasant introduction to Uganda’s vibrant atmosphere and local life. Upon arrival in the lodge, you will proceed to your booked accommodation where you can relax and settle in. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay
In the morning, after having your delightful breakfast at 7 am, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National park, one of Uganda most visited National park, which will give you an opportunity to sight the Big 5 with en route stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for an on foot Rhino tracking experience. You will then proceed to enter the park and you will be welcome by the sighting of some wildlife along the way, as you head to your lodge. You will spend the evening relaxing at your lodge. Overnight and dinner at the overnight at the lodge.
Begin the day with a cup of freshly brewed African coffee before heading out for an early morning game drive. With your guide, explore the park in search of wildlife such as elephants, lions, Cape buffaloes, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeests, waterbucks, oribis, bushbucks, Bohor reedbucks, and hyenas, with a chance of spotting a leopard. Lunch will be served during the day. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the river plunges through a narrow gorge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will set off on a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside towards Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views and make brief stops for sightseeing, including distant views of the impressive Rift Valley escarpment and the surrounding landscapes. The journey offers a pleasant introduction to the region’s natural beauty and rural life. You will arrive at Kibale Forest National Park in the late afternoon and check in at your lodge, where you can relax and unwind before dinner and an overnight stay.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting the chimpanzee tracking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will enter the forest in search of chimpanzees and may also encounter other primates such as vervet monkeys, blue monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys. After the tracking activity, you will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, well known for its rich birdlife and primates. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
In the morning, after a relaxed breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through the beautiful countryside. Upon arrival, you will embark on an afternoon game drive in the park, offering an excellent opportunity to encounter a wide variety of wildlife species, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and possibly lions or leopards. After the rewarding game drive, you will continue to your lodge where you can unwind and enjoy some leisure time. Dinner and overnight will be at the lodge as you relax and take in the surrounding natural beauty.
In the morning, you will set out for an early game drive in the Kasenyi area, one of the best wildlife viewing sectors in the park. This experience offers excellent opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife species, including big cats such as lions and leopards, as well as several antelope species and other animals active in the morning hours. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
In the morning, after breakfast, you will set off on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey will take you through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, well known for its rare tree climbing lions. Here, you will enjoy a game drive in search of these unique lions often seen resting on fig tree branches, along with other wildlife species. After the game drive, you will continue with the drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Begin the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by UWA staff at 8:00 am. You will receive important guidelines for the gorilla trekking experience. Ensure you carry essentials such as a rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, and sturdy hiking boots. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will trek through the forest in search of the mountain gorillas assigned to your group. The trek may take between two and six hours. After the experience, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided community walk. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
After an early morning breakfast, you will check out and begin your transfer to the airport to catch your onward flight. As the drive from Bwindi to Entebbe takes approximately ten hours, we recommend taking a domestic flight to Entebbe for greater comfort and time efficiency. Alternatively, you may choose to drive through Kigali for your departure, as this route offers a shorter and more convenient driving distance. Your driver guide will assist with the transfer and ensure a smooth journey to the airport. End of services.
