Day 1
Transfer to Volcanoes National Park (Travel Time +2 hrs)
Today, you will be met by your professional driver guide at your hotel in Kigali or upon arrival at Kigali International Airport if you land at 2:00 PM or earlier. After a brief welcome and orientation, you will embark on an insightful Kigali city tour, including a visit to a vibrant local market and the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a meaningful historical experience. Thereafter, you will enjoy a scenic drive to Musanze, near Volcanoes National Park, arriving at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Gorilla Trekking & Cultural Visit
Begin your day with an early morning cup of coffee before transferring to the park headquarters for a comprehensive gorilla trekking briefing. Thereafter, proceed into the forest in search of the mountain gorillas, observing their natural behavior in their habitat. Once located, you will spend one unforgettable hour in their presence. A moderate level of fitness is recommended. The trek may last half or a full day. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon village walk and cultural performance. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 3
Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali Airport
Following an early breakfast, your dedicated safari driver guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing before commencing your golden monkey trekking experience, with packed lunch in hand. You will venture into the forest in search of these lively and rare primates, enjoying close observation in their natural habitat. The trek is generally less demanding than gorilla trekking. Thereafter, return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Kigali, either to your hotel or directly to the airport for your onward international departure.
