Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the hotel.

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and completing the immigration process, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari driver. After a brief orientation about your exciting 10 days Uganda gorilla and Masai Mara safari, you will be transferred to your booked accommodation. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and unwind in comfort before settling in for the night, preparing for the incredible adventure that lies ahead. Day 2
Kigali City tour and Transfer to Bwindi

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of your hotel and embark on a Kigali city tour, including a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre, a powerful and educational experience. Later, you’ll begin your scenic drive to Bwindi, enjoying the stunning landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation for a late lunch, followed by an afternoon of relaxation to prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy dinner at your lodge before an overnight stay, resting for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking experience and transferring to volcanoes NP

Begin your day with an early cup of coffee before the briefing from Uganda Wildlife officials. Then, head into the jungle in search of the elusive mountain gorillas, immersing yourself in their natural habitat. Once you find them, you’ll have the rare chance to observe these magnificent creatures for an entire hour, gazing into their soulful eyes. Gorilla trekking requires moderate fitness, as it may take half to a full day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Afterward, enjoy lunch and spend the rest of the day relaxing, reflecting on this unforgettable experience.

Day 4
Boat trip in Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Volcanoes NP

After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi for a scenic boat trip, famous for its exceptional birdwatching opportunities, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise. During the boat ride, you’ll enjoy the stunning views and abundant wildlife. Following the boat trip, you’ll embark on a scenic transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in for the night at your lodge, preparing for the exciting adventure for golden monkey trek.

Day 5
Golden monkey trek & transfer to the airport

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and drive to Volcanoes National Park for an exciting golden monkey trek. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch before transferring to Kigali. From there, you will head to Kigali International Airport for your flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by your Kenyan driver-guide, who will transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy a relaxing dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for your upcoming adventures in Kenya.

Day 6
Transfer Nairobi to Lake Nakuru Park

After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll meet your safari driver for a pre-safari briefing before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park at 08:30 hrs. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Rift Valley floor, passing farmlands and the Great Rift Valley Lakes, with a brief stop along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive. Lake Nakuru is home to four of the Big 5, along with numerous mammals and bird species, including the iconic White Rhinos and flamingos. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 7
Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast is served from 06:30 hrs. Afterward, depart Lake Nakuru at 07:15 hrs for the drive to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge, followed by a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, from 15:30 hrs to 18:00 hrs, enjoy your first game drive in the Masai Mara, renowned for its magical big cat sightings, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The reserve is also home to diverse wildlife. After an exciting day, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Day 8-9
Game drives in Masai Mara

You will spend two full days exploring the vast Masai Mara Reserve, enjoying game drives as you search for the resident Big Cats, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Look out for lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, elands, gazelles, hippos, leopards, black rhinos, and more. The Mara, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves, is home to the Big Five and a wide range of predators, scavengers, plains game, and prolific birdlife. It’s also the site of the incredible annual wildebeest migration. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 10
Transfer back to Nairobi for flight to back home

After breakfast, check out of the camp. Depending on the location of your camp and time available, you may enjoy a final enroute game drive as you head back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, lunch will be served at a restaurant in Nairobi, time permitting. Afterward, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your afternoon flight back home.
