Day by Day

Day 1
Transfer from the airport to the hotel

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport and after completing the immigration process, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari driver. They will provide a brief orientation about your upcoming journey before transferring you to your pre-arranged accommodation. Once you arrive, you can relax and unwind, enjoying a delicious dinner at the lodge. The evening will be yours to rest, preparing for the exciting safari adventures ahead. This will be followed by a peaceful overnight stay, ensuring you are refreshed for the days to come.

Day 2
Kigali City tour and Transfer to Bwindi NP/ Uganda

After enjoying an early morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Grounds, which honor the memory of the more than one million Rwandans tragically lost in the 1994 genocide. The site provides a moving educational experience, with displays and video clips from survivors, offering insights into the tragic history and ongoing efforts for peace-building.

Following this, you’ll proceed on a scenic drive to Bwindi, where you’ll check into your booked accommodation for a late lunch. You’ll then have the afternoon to relax and prepare for the following day’s exciting trekking adventure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your accommodation, ensuring you are rested and ready for the upcoming safari experience.

Day 3
Gorilla trekking experience

Start your day with a cup of coffee before heading to the briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority officials. Afterward, you’ll enter the jungle in search of the shy mountain gorillas, where you can observe their natural behaviors in their home. Once you encounter these magnificent creatures, you’ll have an hour to sit and gaze into their expressive eyes. A reasonable level of fitness is required for this trek, along with proper walking shoes, packed food, water, insect repellent, sunscreen, and a hat. The trek may take half a day, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Afterward, enjoy a relaxed afternoon at the lodge, reminiscing about the unforgettable experience, before dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4
Canoe ride in Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Kigali

After a relaxing breakfast, you’ll embark on a canoe ride adventure to explore the stunning hotspots of Lake Bunyonyi, nestled within the valleys of Kisoro. The lake, surrounded by picturesque islands, is home to a variety of bird species. Afterward, you’ll drive back to Kigali, enjoying an en-route lunch. Time permitting, you’ll stop at Kimironko Market for a brief tour and some local shopping. Finally, you’ll be dropped off at your hotel for the evening, where you can enjoy a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5
Transfer to the airport for departure flight to Tanzania

After a relaxed breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and be transferred to the airport for your flight to Tanzania, where your exciting game drive safari awaits. Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver-guide will warmly welcome you. After an evening flight, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha for check-in. Take some time to unwind and enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by a peaceful overnight stay at the hotel, resting before your thrilling safari adventure begins the next day.

Day 6
transfer to Tarangire NP for gam drives

After breakfast, you’ll embark on an exciting game drive in Tarangire National Park, where you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including herds of elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, and diverse bird species. After the game drive, you’ll be transferred to Karatu, arriving in time for a delicious dinner. The evening will be yours to relax and unwind at the lodge, reflecting on the day’s wildlife encounters. Day 7
Game drive in Ngorongoro crater and transfer to Serengeti NP

Today, you will descend 2,000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a half-day crater tour. Explore the forest areas home to monkeys and elephants, the lake where flamingos may be spotted, and the open savannah where lions hunt. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch at the lodge. Following lunch, you’ll drive to central Serengeti, where you’ll embark on an exciting game drive through the park, spotting a variety of wildlife. In the evening, enjoy dinner at your lodge before a restful overnight stay.

Full day game drives into Serengeti National Park

After a rewarding morning, return to your lodge for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, embark on another exciting game drive, exploring more of the park’s wildlife. Later, return to the lodge for some relaxation, followed by a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at your booked lodge, reflecting on an unforgettable day.

Day 9
Full day game drives into Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll have the chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, or perhaps a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to your lodge for lunch, then head out for an evening game drive. Afterward, return to the lodge for some relaxation, followed by a delicious dinner and an overnight stay at your Serengeti lodge, reflecting on an incredible day of wildlife encounters.

Day 10
Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park. Travel time + 5hrs

After breakfast, you will embark on a game drive through Serengeti, en-route to Lake Manyara via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a packed lunch during the journey. Upon arrival at Lake Manyara in the late afternoon, you’ll have time to relax and unwind, soaking in the tranquil surroundings. Later, enjoy a delicious dinner at your lodge, followed by an overnight stay. This peaceful evening will give you the chance to reflect on the day’s adventures before a restful night in the heart of Tanzania’s stunning landscapes.

Day 11
Lake Manyara to Arusha – Kilimanjaro Airport. Travel time +4 hrs

After breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, enjoying the early morning wildlife activity. After the game drive, you’ll drive back to Arusha for a hot lunch at a local restaurant. Following lunch, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight back home, bringing an end to your incredible safari experience. As you reflect on the memorable moments from your adventure, you’ll depart with unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s diverse landscapes and wildlife.
