Overview

Your 3 Days Uganda Gorilla and Golden Monkey Via Kigali  offers an exceptional opportunity to experience two of East Africa’s most remarkable primate encounters within a short yet rewarding itinerary. This carefully designed safari combines the world renowned mountain gorilla trekking experience in Uganda with the fascinating golden monkey trekking in Rwanda, creating a unique cross border wildlife journey. The highlight of the adventure takes place in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated conservation areas and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bwindi is globally recognized as one of the best locations to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat and is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining population of these extraordinary primates. Accompanied by experienced park rangers and trackers, you will venture into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The moment you encounter these gentle giants in the wild is both powerful and unforgettable. In addition to the gorilla experience, this 3 Days Uganda Gorilla and Golden Monkey Via Kigali also includes a visit to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda, where you will enjoy the exciting golden monkey trekking experience. These rare and playful primates inhabit the bamboo forests at the base of the Virunga Volcanoes and are known for their energetic movements and striking golden orange fur. Overall, this short but immersive safari provides an excellent introduction to the natural beauty, biodiversity, and unique primate experiences that define both Rwanda and Uganda.
