About the Lodge

Elephant Plains Lodge is a beautiful property is set on 80 acres of land in one of the greatest wilderness areas of Uganda along the angelic western escarpment of the Albertine rift valley region, it offers luxury accommodation with panoramic views of the savannah, the lodge is fully run on electricity and a backup generator, it offers nothing but relaxation and comfort at its best while enjoying a great dining experience at the sitting area and sipping drinks at the assorted bar, the lodge is just a short drive away from the main gate of the conservation area overlooking Lake Kikorongo.

Location

Located 15 minutes’ drive from the park gate and approximately 1 kilometer from the equator, it takes approximately 6 hours to drive from Entebbe or 1 1-hour flight to the Kasese or Mweya airstrip.

Rooms

Elephant Plain Lodge features 8 luxury rooms, which include 2 family cottages. All cottages feature a private veranda and full-length windows for views of the park. The family cottages feature 2 separate ensuite bathrooms and can take up to 5 people. All of the cottages have a large bathtub and showers running with both cold and warm water. Each of the rooms overlooks Lake Kikorongo.
