Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge

Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge is a lovely eco lodge along the edge of the Kibale Forest National Park. The conservation area is one of the few remaining rainforests of the country, growing trees that reach up to 55m tall, hosting about 13 primate species, and is famous for the chimpanzee, which can be tracked beginning from the Kanyanchu visitor center and is the main activity of the park, the well positioned lodge is placed overlooking the Bigodi Swamp, the signature of the Lodge is the Family Cottage which can be configured into 2 bedrooms or 3 bedrooms unit that is ideal for families.

Location

Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge is located in the surrounding area of Kibale Forest National Park overlooking the Bigodi Swamp. It can be accessed by road or by air from Entebbe to the Kasese airstrip. It takes approximately 5-6 hours to drive to the destination from Entebbe.

Rooms

The lodge comprises of 8 stand-alone rooms and 1 family cottage, these are built with breathtaking views of the forest, depicting an African style made from local material, all cottages are raised on a wooden platform decorated with antiques, they feature ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water, flush toilets, mosquito nets, chairs, bottled water in the rooms and complimentary toiletries.
