About the lodge
Mweya Safari Lodge is a luxury facility in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The property is managed by Marasa Africa, giving a perfect opportunity to dive into the trueness of the African wilderness and an unforgettable experience, it is amazingly surrounded by the backdrop of the Rwenzori Mountain also known as “mountains of the moon” and to the east the great rift valley hills separated from the ecosystem by the roaming Kazinga channel, the lodge rooms are offer stunning views of the surrounding community and is one of the best places that you will receive a warm welcome from the friendly staff.
Location
Mweya Safari Lodge is in western Uganda in Queen Elizabeth National Park along the Mweya peninsula. The lodge is easily accessed from the Entebbe International Airport by flight to the Mweya airstrip. Alternatively, it takes a 6–7-hour drive from Entebbe to the National Park.
Rooms
The luxury lodge consists of 54 rooms, 46 of which are classic deluxe and superior rooms. These are permanent structures built with brick and stand-alone structures. The room features a coffee station, a view of the Kazinga peninsula, and a fan. These can be arranged as double or single rooms, 4 cottages, and 4 tents built on wooden platforms and permanent bathrooms
