Day 1: VISITING SHIMBA HILLS NATIONAL RESERVE
Today very early in the morning after having your early warm breakfast at 6 am, you will be picked by our safari driver guide who will transfer you to the reserve, upon arrival, go for a game drive to watch wildlife animals such as the high populations of elephants, the rare sable antelopes, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Impalas, Colobus Monkeys, and different bird species, during your game drive on a clear day you will be able to see the outline of the magnificent Usambara Mountains in Tanzania, you will then proceed to the magnificent Sheldrick falls with an experienced park ranger, and to get to the waterfalls, it takes approximately a walk of 2 kilometers, Please take note that you have to be sufficiently physically fit and healthy however the views of these waterfalls will compensate us for your efforts, Enjoy the shower at the waterfall that will make you l feel twice as refreshing.
After visiting the Sheldrick falls, drive to Shimba Hills lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will walk to the elephant lookout, Comfortably taking a rest observe wild animals, especially these herds of elephants as they walk following their way to the water pools for water, lookout to watch other numerous animals and this is certainly a wonderful experience. Later we will embark on a game drive en-route as we go back to Mombasa where you will be dropped back to your hotel in the late afternoon.
