Day 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO THE HOTEL IN KAMPALA. TRAVEL TIME 1.30 HRS
Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport by our driver guide and transfer you to Kampala, with a great drive to the beautiful city of Kampala, for dinner and overnight at the Latitude 0 (Luxury) or Arcadia Lodge (Mid-range) or Forest cottages (Standard). Meal Plan: Dinner.
Day 2: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK. TRAVEL TIME + 6HRS
In the morning, you will set off a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside to Kibale Forest NP with en-route stops for sightseeing including the distant views of the countryside. You will reach Kibale Forest NP in the afternoon and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, overlooking the beautiful tea gardens, for overnight and dinner at the Kyaninga Lodge (luxury) or Turaco Treetop lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND BIGODI NATURE WALK
In the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for the briefing before going for Chimpanzee tracking, where you may encounter other primates like Vervet Monkeys, Blue Host Monkeys, Black and white colobus monkeys among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon; go for a nature walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a swamp walk, primate and bird viewing, the walk can take roughly 2 hours. Dinner and Overnight at the Turaco Treetop lodge (Mid-range lodge). Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 4: Transfer to Kampala. Travel time +6hrs
In the morning after your relaxed breakfast, you will set off a spectacular drive back to Kampala, and catch up with lunch at a local restaurant and then later dropped at your place of convenience or Entebbe airport.
