Day 1: HIKING MOUNT KARISIMBI
Early this morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and driven to the park headquarters at Kinigi for a briefing at 7:00 am. After the briefing, you will begin your hike. The trek up Mount Karisimbi typically takes two days, including a night of camping on the summit. Climbing Mount Karisimbi is a strenuous but highly rewarding experience, often complemented with gorilla trekking, all within Volcanoes National Park. The hike to the summit, which stands at 4507 meters above sea level, takes approximately 6-7 hours. You will have dinner and overnight at the camp on the summit.

Day 2: DESCEND MOUNT KARISIMBI
Start your day with a relaxed, mouth-watering breakfast before resuming your hike to the summit of Mount Karisimbi. After reaching the top, you will begin your descent. You are expected to be back by early noon. Upon your return, enjoy a hot, refreshing lunch. Afterward, you will be transferred to your booked hotel in Kigali for leisure and relaxation. If you are departing on the same day, we will drop you off at the airport.
