Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: AIRPORT TRANSFER TO HOTEL
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will go through custom and immigration, and you will be met by our company guide who will warmly welcome you to the Land of a thousand hills that Rwanda is know of, an later drive to your booked hotel accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: TRANSFER TO NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK. TRAVEL TIME +5 HOURS
Early morning enjoy your buffer breakfast and checkout of the hotel and drive heading to the western province, on your way visit the Royal Palace Museum in Southern Province, this will give you a great history of traditional ways of living among Rwandans and their past way of leadership of Kingship with an enroute lunch. You will reach in the afternoon at Nyungwe national park and spend the afternoon at your leisure.

Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING & CANOPY
Today, after your early morning cap of African coffee, you will leave your hotel to experience the natural forest of Nyungwe well known for having 13 species of primates, and transferred to the park for briefing and chimpanzee trekking. You will be entitled to one hour on finding the chimpanzees. After doing the chimpanzee trek, head for lunch before heading for a canopy walk. This 70 meters suspended metallic bridge will give you a great overview of Nyungwe forest and on a luck day spot one or two more primates in the forest as you take a walk on this bridge and later return in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: TRANSFER TO KIBUYE AT LAKE KIVU. TRAVEL TIME +3HRS
After having a relaxed breakfast, you will be transferred to Gisenyi a lake showers town near Lake Kivu, you will head for a boat trip to explore this amazing lake, as you take a look at fishermen doing fishing on a 3 boat type. You will be able to visit and island as well. Lots of birds can be sighted here. You will later head in for lunch and after lunch, you will spend the entire day relaxing and may be taking a self-walk around the beach and town with lunch. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 5: TRANSFER TO BWINDI VIA CYANIKA BOARDER. TRAVEL TIME + 3 HRS
Today after your relaxed buffer breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park one of the world UNESCO heritage site, having a number of bird species and harboring half of the left mountain gorilla population. The park is one of the best spot to see the endangered mountain gorillas, one of the leading activities in the park. You will visit Iby’ Iwacu cultural village, to get an insight of the traditional Rwandan culture as you proceed to Bwindi. You will catch up with your lunch and later spend the evening at your leisure as you warm up for you next life time adventure. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 6: GORILLA TREKKING
Early morning cup of coffee, then prepare for the gorilla trekking briefing from the park headquarters and thereafter, you will enter the jungle with your packed lunch to search the shy mountain gorillas and enjoy their life style in their real home. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for a whole hour watching their social life as you take pictures. On a gorilla safari, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as walking shoes, packed food and mineral water, insect repellent, sun screen and hut. The gorilla tracking experience takes half or whole day depending on the movements of these primates. After this gorilla tracking experience you will return to your lodge for lunch. You will spend the evening relaxing and going through your great shots during your trekking as you wait for overnight stay.

Day 7: TRANSFER TO KIGALI, CITY TOUR
Today after having a relaxed morning breakfast, with a beautiful view of the landscape, you checkout of the lodge and drive back to Kigali via Gatuna boarder to Kigali with an en route lunch at a convenient restaurant in Kigali. If time allows, you will visit Kigali genocide memorial ground where over 250000 victims of the genocide incident in 1994, were given a decent mass burial. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT.
After getting done with your relaxed morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch up with your onward flight. End of service!
