Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Nature Walk
In the morning, you will depart for the park headquarters to attend a briefing by the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers before proceeding into the forest for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. As you trek through Kibale Forest, you may also encounter other primate species and diverse wildlife. After this remarkable experience, return to the lodge for a relaxing lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided swamp walk, offering excellent opportunities for primate sightings and bird watching. The walk lasts about two hours. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to the Kazinga Channel for a relaxing boat cruise, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species.
