Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL IN KAMPALA. TRAVEL TIME 1.30 HRS
Upon arrival, you will be picked from the airport by our driver guide and transfer you to Kampala, with a great drive to the beautiful city of Kampala, for dinner and overnight at the Latitude 0 (Luxury) or Arcadia lodge (Mid – range) or Forest cottages (Standard). Meal Plan: Dinner.
Day 2: TRANSFER TO KIBALE NATIONAL PARK. TRAVEL TIME + 6HRS
In the morning, you will set off a relaxed drive through the verdant countryside to Kibale Forest NP with en route stops for sightseeing including the distant views of the country side. You will reach Kibale Forest NP in the afternoon and spend the evening relaxing at the lodge, overlooking the beautiful tea gardens, for overnight and dinner at the Kyaninga lodge (luxury) or Turaco Tree top lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 3: CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND BIGODI NATURE WALK
In the morning, you will set off to the park headquarters for briefing before going for Chimpanzee tracking, where you may encounter other primates like Vervet Monkeys, Blue Hoest Monkeys, Black and white colobus Monkeys among others. Return to the lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon; go for a nature walk to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for swamp walk, primate and bird viewing, the walk can take roughly 2 hours. Dinner and Overnight at the Kyaninga lodge (luxury) or Turaco Tree top lodge (Mid-range lodge) or Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Day 4: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NP. TRAVEL TIME +3HRS
In the morning, after relaxed breakfast, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for afternoon game drives in the park anticipating seeing a variety of Wildlife species. You will later drive to your lodge to have some rest in the afternoon, as you have a stunning view of the Kazinga channel, colored with plenty of wildlife seen at a distance, as you proceed to your lodge for an evening leisure at the lodge as you relax by the pool side. Overnight and dinner at Mweya Safari lodge (luxury) or Parkview Safari lodge (Midrange lodge) or Kazinga Wilderness Camp (standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 5: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND AFTERNOON LAUNCH CRUISE
In the morning, you will go for an early morning game drive to the Kasenyi area for more game viewing anticipating seeing a variety of wildlife species including the big cats and several antelope species. You will later return to the lodge for a late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, gather at the Kazinga channel for a launch trip that will reward you with sights of hippos and crocodiles among other animals. Overnight and dinner at Mweya Safari lodge (luxury) or Parkview Safari lodge (Midrange lodge) or Kazinga Wilderness Camp (standard). Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 6: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA. TRAVEL TIME +6HRS
In the morning after your relaxed breakfast, you will set off a spectacular drive back to Kampala, and catch up with lunch at a local restaurant and then later dropped at your place of convenience or Entebbe airport.
