4 Days Game Safari in South Island National ParkDetailed Itinerary.

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by one of our professional safari driver guide who will welcome to Kenya and thereafter will drive you to your booked hotel for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: FLY FROM NAIROBI TO SOUTH ISLAND NATIONAL PARK

Today you will be picked from your hotel in the morning after breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to take your flight to the airstrip near lake Turkana, you will take a boat that will enable you to get into this island national park, upon arrival, you will go for a game viewing within the park to explore the wildlife that survives in this area, enjoy watching the thousands of crocodiles, hippos that thrive here making the park a crocodile kingdom, watch the venomous reptiles such as saw-scaled viper, night and puff adder and cobra. You will have your lunch box at the south island campsite and then in the afternoon, take a boat trip into lake Turkana and the other surrounding islands to get an adventure that will give you the most remarkable experiences while you watch the numerous fish species inhabiting the lake such as the Nile perch, the large tilapia, and pufferfish, after this adventure you will return to your booked accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: EXPLORING SOUTH ISLAND NATIONAL PARK AND VISIT TO KOOBI FORA MUSEUM

The morning after having your breakfast, go for another exploration in the park which is a breeding ground for crocodiles, watch the crocodiles and hippos, for avid bird watchers, you will spot numerous bird species such as Goliath heron, and African skimmer, while African open-billed stork, Duck and Gulls as well as flamingos and after return back and have your lunch and in the afternoon you will go for a visit to Koobi for a Museum found in Sibiloi National Park where you will discover findings from different archeological sites including the Australopithecus anamensis, skull of the Homo habilis/rudolfensis dating two million years ago, the skull of the Paranthropus boisei, Homo erectus and Homo sapiens, molluscan and other fossils rich in mammalian all found within one locality. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: CULTURAL VISIT AND TRANSFER BACK TO NAIROBI

On this day after having your breakfast, you will take a walk to a visit to this unique cultural a community of the El Molo tribe, of which there are only thought to be 500 individuals and get an insight into their traditional lifestyle and culture while interacting with the local people and after you will return to take your flight back to Nairobi.
