Day 1: TRANSFER TO MUSANZE

You will be picked upon arrival at the airport or at the hotel in Kigali and transferred to Musanze by your driver guide, the drive can last for 2 to 3 hours. You will have a lot of stopover along the way as you travel. Morning flight is advised. Dinner and overnight at Five Volcanoes Boutique lodge (High end) or Classic Lodge Musanze. Meal Plan: Dinner

Day 2: HIKE TO DIANA FOSSEY GRAVE YARD

Today, you will be driven to the park headquarter at Kinigi at 7:00 am upon having your breakfast for briefing and you will later head off for hiking. The hike will typically take a full day from 3 hours depending on your hiking experience. You are reminded to wear hiking boots to overcome the muddy and slippery grounds especially in the rainy season. After the hike, you will head back for lunch before driving back to Kigali. If time permits, visit the Kigali genocide memorial ground.
