Getting to Murchison Falls National Park:

Southern Entrance Gates:

• Routes from Masindi town, approximately 4 hours (305km) from Kampala.
• Two main routes from Masindi enter through Kichumbanyobo Gate and Bugungu gate.

Northern Entrance Gates:

• Accessible from Kampala-Pakwach Road, crossing the Nile at Karuma Falls Bridge.
• Gates include Chobe, Wankwar, Mubako, and Tangi for visitors traveling to/from Gulu town and Kidepo Valley National Park.

By Air:

• Pakuba Airfield, 19km from North Paraa, can be reached by chartered aircraft from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield.
• Other airfields include Chobe to the East and Bugungu to the south.
