Day 1: ARRIVAL AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF KILIMANJARO (JRO)
At the airport of Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by your experienced professional driver-guide, after confirming the presence of your entire belongings, will offer you some bottles of mineral water or cold drinks followed by a direct private transfer to your Hotel in Arusha for Leisure, Dinner, and Overnight. This marks the start of the 16 Days Tanzania Holidays Safari.
Day 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES.
At 830hrs, embark to Tarangire national park for game drives and game viewings

The Tarangire national park covers an undulating area of 2,850 km², characterized by open woodlands dotted with hundreds of majestic baobab trees, boasting a massive density of wildlife, flora, and fauna species. The park is primarily famous for big herds of Elephants and a surprising number of Wildebeests and Zebras, rapidly scattered throughout the woodlands and beneath the Tarangire River, a river in which the park took its name. Buffaloes, giraffes, fringe-eared Oryx Gazelles, Impala, Mongoose, Hartebeest, Crocodiles, and hippos also claim the sanctuary their home of all times, feeding on shoots, bushes, grasses, acacias, and preys. Lions are also common and sometimes wild dogs, Cheetahs, Hyenas, and Leopard can be spotted. As you drive into different parts of the park in search of incredible, your professional driver-guide will surprise you with his skills in locating and interpreting wildlife and its behaviors. Tarangire is also the best bird-watching site with more than 500 species recorded, such as; francolins, parrots, starlings, Ostriches, hornbills, etc. You shall have your lunch at the picnic point inside the park, And later after authentic wildlife game drives and game viewings, you will be transferred to your accommodation for Dinner and Overnight.
Day 3: TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK VIA NGORONGORO AREA.
Today you will drive across the Ngorongoro conservation area to Serengeti national park with a stop at Ngorongoro Crater view point and at one of the Maasai traditional Boma for cultural tour experiences with Maasai, a tribe that share habitat with wild animals very close to hands. Good times are still in progress, today after rewarding breakfast at your lodge, your driver will pack your luggage and lunchboxes in your vehicle ready for an authentic drive to Serengeti national park through the famous Ngorongoro conservation area. On your way, you will have several stops at some interesting spots including the crater view point for a visual view of the Crater floor and its beautiful surrounding. Animals like Lions, elephants, hyenas, jackals, elephants, zebras, wildebeests, Gazelles, impala and buffaloes can also be spotted in Ngorongoro conservation area. As you drive further, you will pass at one of the Maasai Boma for incredible and surprising African cultural experiences. As you step down from your vehicle, you will be warmly welcomed by an authentic Maasai traditional dance from a group of Maasai warriors pretty dressed in thin braids/Shuka, decorated with beaded earrings on their stretched earlobes that can be seen as they jump high and swing their long tangled hairs. Maasai is the only tribe among the very few African tribes that still practice and live its genuine lifestyle.
Here everything is surprising and extremely interesting. Their history backgrounds and the battles they had fought back in days, Culture, Traditions, Customs and taboos are incredible amazing experiences to discover. You will enter their traditional houses; see where they sleep and what they eat most. Days 4-5: FULL DAY GAME DRIVES AROUND SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti national park encompasses some of the Africa`s most dramatic scenery and is one of the greatest of the world`s wildlife sanctuaries spreading over 14673sq km. The park obtained its name from a Maasai word Siringiti that means an extended wide plain area. This endless wilderness with spectacular panoramic views provides habitats and coverage for vast array of mammals, birds and reptiles compared to any other parks and game reserves in Africa. Apart from its jaw-dropping endless rolling plains of savannah and woodlands, Serengeti is popular for it`s great wildebeests migration circle and the best destination for big cats safaris.
It is not so uncommon to spot big herds of elephants and groups of Giraffes browsing on acacia trees or pride of Lions setting ambush on buffalo or hyenas feeding on abandoned zebra`s carcass. Your game drives may also reveal animals like; Topi, Cheetahs, Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and Leopards, grant gazelles, Warthogs, Jackals, Impalas and many other small to large-sized animals. More than 400 birds’ species including Ostriches, Vultures, Starlings, Secretary birds roam in this land and can be easily spotted on your game drives. Lunch shall be served at the picnic site inside the wilderness. After game drives, return to Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp for relaxing, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 6: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER FOR GAME DRIVES TO KARATU.
Drive from Serengeti with your packed lunches to Ngorongoro crater for game drives and game viewings. Thereafter, drive to Karatu. Overnight at Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included
Below the Ngorongoro crater floor, there are lives of amazing wild creatures dramatically carpeting the land in different colors and styles, making the area the most marvelous place on earth to indulge for spectacular game drives and game viewings in search of incredible big cats and the remained endangered black rhinoceros. This 2000 ft. deep intact volcanic caldera was formed after an extensive volcanic eruption. It’s also comprised of two smaller Craters of Olmoti and Empakai perfect destinations for pure nature hiking and walking safaris. Wildebeests, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Waterbucks, Jackals, Elephants, Lions, Zebras, Leopards, Hippos, Baboons, Mongoose and monkeys, Elands and many other wildlife species alongside hundreds of bird species e.g. Ostriches, Starlings, Bustards, Eagles etc. live here and can be spotted during game drives. You will have your lunches at the picnic site inside the crater floor before proceeding with game drives. Day 7: FLY FROM ARUSHA OR KILIMANJARO AIRPORT TO DAR ES SALAAM
Today after leisure breakfast, you will be picked up from your lodge and be transferred to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight to Dar es Salaam. Overnight at Peacock Hotel. Bed and Breakfast Included.
Upon arrival at Julius Kambarage Nyerere International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will transfer you directly to your hotel for relaxing, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 8: FLY TO KIGOMA, TRANSFER TO GOMBE STREAM NATIONAL PARK.
In the morning at leisure, you will be transferred to Julius Kambarage Nyerere International airport for your flight to Kigoma, later visit the Dr. Livingstone museum and memorial center in Ujiji village followed by a direct boat transfer to Gombe Stream National Park for 3 nights stay. Overnight at Gombe Stream Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner included.
Upon arrival at Kigoma Airstrip, you will be picked up by our representative who will transfer you to Ujiji village where you will visit Dr. Livingstone museum and memorial center. From here, you will get to hear the history of slave trade and the journeys and missionary activities of the famous Dr. David Livingstone in the 19th century. Thereafter, you will be transferred further to Kibirizi port for your boat transfer to your Lodge in Gombe stream National Park, after check in, you will dine for lunch and the remainder of your day is free for you to walk around your lodge`s beautiful surroundings or embarking on short chimpanzee trekking tour. This secluded park offers a very perfect chimps viewing in Africa, apart from chimpanzees, expect to encounter other primates and animal species like; Baboons, colobus and velvet monkeys, forest pigs, dik dik, and wide range of tropical birdlife species. Dinner and Overnight at Gombe Forest Lodge.
Days 9 – 11: DISCOVER THE GOMBE STREAM, A CHIMPANZEE`S SECLUDED PLANET
These days will be spent hiking to different areas of the park, searching for chimps families, visiting waterfall and bird watching. All the hikes will be accompanied by an armed ranger. Boat tour in Lake Tanganyika can also be arranged for you on request. After each hike, you will return back to your lodge for hot lunch or you can request to leave with your packed lunches.

Gombe Stream is a beautiful mountainous forested national park that slopes steeply down to the shores of Lake Tanganyika in Kigoma region, with an area of 52 sq km, Gombe stream is a quiet and mesmerizing destination popular for chimpanzee trekking safaris, nature walks, boat safaris and water sports in Lake Tanganyika which is the second deepest lake in the world. It is in Gombe Stream where the famous anthropologist and conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall made many significant discoveries about the chimpanzees. It is possible to watch chimpanzees at close quarters during forest hikes, and it is a rare treat to be able to sit down quietly in a corner of pristine forest and have chimpanzees romp, play and interact all around you as they go about their daily activities.
In addition to the joys of walking in pristine forests and watching chimps, there are lots of other wildlife to enjoy including red-tailed monkeys, red colobus, blue monkeys (part of the gentle monkey family who is gentle by nature from birth), olive baboon and velvet monkeys. Hiking is done up into the forest and even up to the peak by using natural trails. The lake waters are wonderful to swim in, but more than that, Lake Tanganyika has the greatest diversity of Cichlid fishes in the world, and the largest specimens. Cichlids are generally brilliantly colored freshwater fishes that are a joy to watch either by snorkeling above them or using scuba gear to swim down amongst them. Boat excursions are also interesting activities in this unique part of the wild world.
Days 12 – 15: FLIGHT KIGOMA TO ZANZIBAR ISLAND VIA DAR ES SALAAM
Today after leisure breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and be transferred to Kigoma Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar via Dar Es Salaam for 5 nights beach holiday. Overnight at Sultan Sands Resort. Breakfast and Dinner Included.
