The hot air balloon safari gives you an aerial view of Murchison Falls National Park as you spot the diversity of species wildlife. The flight is taken at a tree level so as to bring you closer so that you take a good look at the beautiful scenery of Murchison Falls National Park.

10 Uganda Luxury SafariDetailed Itinerary.

Day 1-3: ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO JINJA

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by our company representative who will assist you onto your light aircraft. You will later be transferred by road to Jinja which roughly 2 and half hours with a wonderful country side view, of the tea gardens, sugar cane plantations and Mabira forest. You will spend your afternoon at leisure overlooking the beautiful River Nile. During your time at Wild Waters Lodge, you will have an opportunity for a number of optional activity where by you chose one to participate in on the next day, such as, full day white water rafting along the mighty Nile, or white water kayaking on the Nile, or boat trip to explore source of Nile and along Lake Victoria, or horseback riding, or squad biking adventure. This is a day full of energy and adventure. You just pick one activity from the above to light up your day.

Day 4-6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NP

Today you will be transferred back to Entebbe in the morning. From here you will be flown to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your camp. During your time at Kyambura Gorge Lodge you will have the opportunity to view a wide variety of animals from game drive vehicles as well as a unique boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, headed into Lake Edward. Lion, Elephant, Cape buffalo, Warthogs, Leopard, Hyena, Mongoose, Waterbuck, Ugandan Kob, Hippo & a prolific bird life are to mention a few! While Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge you can expect to observe numerous primates which include chimpanzees, baboons, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colubus and vervet monkeys.

Day 7-9: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND HELICOPTER ADVENTURE

Today you will be driven out to Bwindi via the Ishasha sector of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree climbing Lions which are unique to this region. During your Gorilla Tracking, experienced wildlife guides along with trackers and porters will accompany you through the ever-green forest. The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, leads you to lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After finding the Gorillas, you will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. With an estimated 850 Gorilla population in the world, spending one hour with a Gorilla family is a once in a lifetime experience! In the afternoon, you have option to visit a women project (Ride 4 a woman). It’s a charitable organization set up to support women struggling with poverty, HIV and domestic violence. Your visit indirectly supports the project work and while here, you may participate in basketry, weaving, making local dishes and have an opportunity for last minute craft shopping. The Batwa Community visit is a mind-opening adventure you will never forget as you go for an incredible day hike in the rain forest with the elderly Batwa (pygmy) guides. See how the Batwa lived and hunted, learn about medicinal plants, and watch for animals and birds. You will share a traditional meal with the Batwa, hear ancient legends and traditional songs, and join in on a mock hunting party. You can even test your skill with a Batwa bow and arrow and participate in traditional dances.

Day 10: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE

Today you will be transferred to the Kihihi airstrip for your onward flight via light aircraft to Entebbe International Airport. Here you will connect with your onward flight home.
