Detailed Itinerary.
Day 1: ARRIVAL AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF KILIMANJARO (JRO)
Airport pick up and transfer to Hamerkop House by Lemala in Arusha for leisure and Overnight. Bottled water, Bed and Breakfast Included.
At the airport of Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by your experienced professional driver-guide, after confirming the presence of your entire belongings, will offer you some bottles of mineral water or cold drinks followed by a direct private transfer to your Accommodation in Arusha for Leisure, and Overnight.
Day 2: VISIT THE GRACE ORPHANAGE CENTER THEN DRIVE TO MANYARA
At leisure and after breakfast at your hotel, depart and visit the Grace Orphanage Center, thereafter, drive to Gran Melia Hotel for Lunch followed by a drive to Manyara for Dinner and Overnight at Lake Manyara Kilima Moja Luxury Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner Included.
The Grace Orphanage and Children Center is a humble home to 8 children of whom their parents are either deceased or family have no means to provide sustainable care for them. GOCC has been running since 2016 by volunteer. Anna Ishmail is the founder of this young center and she strives to create a new and loving home for these children. Anna has a background in nursing having worked at Selian Hospital, Arusha Tanzania for 6 years. Her drive comes purely from a place of love as she has compassionately worked for many years with the underprivileged and wishes to continue to do so, with her current ministry by making a significant difference in the lives of the children of the Grace Orphanage and Children Center (GOCC).
Today we shall spend some of our time here with kids, encouraging them, playing and learning about this humanity organization. Should you wish, you can bring anything from your country as gifts and donations. Things you can bring are New or used Clothes, Shoes, Books, Excise books, Pens and Pencils, Drawing colors and sports items. And should you feel to do more for these kids, you will have time to talk to the administration. Thereafter, you will be transferred to Gran Melia Hotel for Lunch followed by a direct drive to Manyara for Dinner and Overnight at your Luxury Lodge.
Day 3: GAME DRIVES IN NGORONGORO CRATER, TRANSFER TO SERENGETI.
Morning game drives and game viewings inside the Ngorongoro crater floor with packed Lunch boxes. Thereafter, ascend the crater walls and drive to Serengeti National Park. Dinner and Overnight at Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included.
Below the Ngorongoro crater floor, there are lives of amazing wild creatures dramatically carpeting the land in different colors and styles, making the area the most marvelous place on earth to indulge for spectacular game drives and game viewings in search of incredible big cats and the remained endangered black rhinoceros. This 2000 ft. deep intact volcanic caldera was formed after an extensive volcanic eruption. It’s also comprised of two smaller Craters of Olmoti and Empakai perfect destinations for pure nature hiking and walking safaris. Wildebeests, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Waterbucks, Jackals, Elephants, Lions, Zebras, Leopards, Hippos, Baboons, Mongoose and monkeys, Elands and many other wildlife species alongside hundreds of bird species e.g. Ostriches, Starlings, Bustards, Eagles etc. live here and can be spotted during game drives. You will have your lunches at the picnic site inside the crater floor before proceeding with game drives. Later after exploration hours, you will ascend the crater walls and drive further to Serengeti for Overnight at your Luxury Tented Camp.
Day 4: DISCOVER THE MIGHTY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Leave the camp for an early morning game drives, return back to the camp for brunch and some rest before embarking for another game drives till around the Serengeti. Late afternoon, drive back to Lemala Ewanjan Tented Camp. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included.
Serengeti national park encompasses some of the Africa`s most dramatic scenery and is one of the greatest of the world`s wildlife sanctuaries spreading over 14673sq km. The park obtained its name from a Maasai word Siringiti that means an extended wide plain area. This endless wilderness with spectacular panoramic views provides habitats and coverage for vast array of mammals, birds and reptiles compared to any other parks and game reserves in Africa. Apart from its jaw-dropping endless rolling plains of savannah and woodlands, Serengeti is popular for it`s great wildebeests migration circle and the best destination for big cats safaris.
It is not so uncommon to spot big herds of elephants and groups of Giraffes browsing on acacia trees or pride of Lions setting ambush on buffalo or hyenas feeding on abandoned zebra`s carcass. Your game drives may also reveal animals like; Topi, Cheetahs, Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and Leopards, grant gazelles, Warthogs, Jackals, Impalas and many other small to large-sized animals. More than 400 birds’ species including Ostriches, Vultures, Starlings, Secretary birds roam in this land and can be easily spotted on your game drives. Lunch shall be served at the picnic site inside the wilderness. After game drives, return to Serengeti Tortilis Tented Camp for relaxing, Dinner and Overnight.
Day 5: SERENGETI HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI LATER FLY TO ZANZIBAR ISLAND
You will rise up in the early morning for a ROMANTIC hot air balloon in Serengeti, later; dine for a glass of Champaign followed by game drives en route to the Airstrip for your flight to Zanzibar Upon arrival you will be picked up and transferred to Melia Zanzibar Hotel. Breakfast and Dinner Included.
A balloon safari is a luxurious and romantic sort of wilderness experience that allows you to explore a vast natural diversity of flora and fauna from inside a hot-air balloon floating above the Serengeti, endless savanna plains, bushes, and above mighty rivers.
