Day 1: DRIVE TO SADAANI, GAME DRIVE AND RETURN TO DAR ES SALAAM

Early in the morning you depart from Dar es Salaam around 7:00 am and drive to Sadaani national park for about 2 hours, on your way you’ll be able to see local villages, historical attractions and rivers including the Wami River, on reaching the park you will set off for a game drive looking out for animals such as wildebeests, hartebeest, giraffe, zebra, waterbuck, and sable antelope and many others plus birds like the African hornbill, watch out for the unexpected like the big four out of the big 5 which include Lions, African bush Elephants, Cape Buffaloes, and Leopards.

You’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on the beach with its white sand and sparkling clear water as you spot some marine life like the sea turtles as well as other mammals that roam the beaches and after you can continue with your game drive or opt for a boat safari. If you choose to take a boat safari, there’s a good chance of spotting hippos, crocodile and a selection of marine and riverine birds, including the mangrove kingfisher and lesser flamingo as we drive towards the Wami River which empties into the Indian Ocean. After your boat safari in the late afternoon, you will be driven back to Dar es Salaam and we will drop you at your hotel.
