Day 1: PICK UP FROM KIGALI - TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK

Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport or after breakfast at your hotel, you will meet a driver guide from Africa Adventure Vacations Ltd for briefing about your tour and then transfer to Mgahinga gorilla national park to check in at reserved hotel. Mgahinga gorilla national park is found in the southwestern Uganda in Virunga Mountains at the borders of Uganda and Rwanda and DR Congo. Upon your arrival at the, drive straight to check in at your reserved lodge and have lunch. If your pick up is in the morning, before transferring to Mgahinga gorilla national park, you will first do Kigali city tour to visit several historical and important places in Kigali city such as Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre and the local market in Kigali. Day 2: MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK, MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREKKING IN UGANDA

After having your breakfast, meet your driver guide at the reception and transfer to Park information center to meet other guest for the briefings about the guidelines to follow during mountain gorilla trekking walk and then later begin your guided forest walk by the UWA ranger guide to search for the mountain gorillas. During your forest walk while looking for mountain gorillas, you may encounter other wildlife species that are residing in this forest such as golden monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, and many bird species. The time taken during gorilla trekking is not known but it is expected to be between 2 hours to 6 hours depending on the movements of the gorilla family you are tracking. Once you meet them, you have a maximum of one hour to follow them, observing their actions, asking questions to your park guide and taking as many photos of mountain gorillas as you would want. After enjoying an unforgettable experience with mountain gorillas, return to the park information center to pick your certificate, enjoy your lunch and later embark on your return driver to either Kigali international airport for your return flight or Kigali city for a night.
