Nairobi Animal Orphanage is an enclosure in Nairobi National Park that shelters a number of orphaned, abandoned, or wounded animals.

Most of them are from other national park’s and reserves in Kenya, spending their time hereunder professional care — until when they are fit enough to be released back into the wild.

As an added bonus, there is an adopt, an animal program that allows visitors to sponsor and give an animal your last name.

What to do there at the Orphanage?

Spend some time with the animals, adopt an animal, learn about their backgrounds, etc.

Animals to see include lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, serval cats, very rare Sokoke cats, warthogs, leopards, various monkeys, baboons, and buffalo.

Best time to visit

Any time of the year. You can visit the orphanage year-round, at any moment. The visit here is wonderful, you will learn alit and see a number of wildlife, in case you have no time to reach out to the Kenyan Parks, for a wildlife Kenya Safari, but the orphanage will treat you with a great experience as you see the adopted wildlife in here.
