Born and raised in Rwanda’s Eastern Province near Akagera National Park, Reginal Hakizimana developed his love for nature and exploration early in life. Watching tourists arrive with cameras and binoculars inspired a lifelong fascination that would eventually lead him to establish Enclose Africa Safaris, one of East Africa’s most trusted local safari specialists. With over 15 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, Reginal has built Enclose Africa Safaris into a leading operator offering authentic and sustainable safari experiences across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda.

From Tour Guide to Visionary Founder

Before founding Enclose Africa Safaris, Reginal began his career as a tour guide, leading travelers through Rwanda’s national parks and sharing his deep knowledge of wildlife and culture. His hands-on experience allowed him to understand what travelers value most: authentic encounters, comfort, and meaning. Combined with a Bachelor’s degree in Travel and Tourism Management, this experience laid the foundation for his entrepreneurial path. In creating Enclose Africa Safaris, Reginal blended his expertise with his values, offering safaris that are both adventurous and ethical.
