Day 1: ARRIVAL AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT OF KILIMANJARO (JRO)

Airport pick up and transfer to Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha for leisure and relaxation at your own pace. Bottled water, Bed and Breakfast Included. This marks the start of the 6 Days Tanzania Safari and Cultural Tour.

At the airport of Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by your experienced professional driver-guide, after confirming the presence of your entire belongings, will offer you some bottles of mineral water or cold drinks followed by a direct private transfer to your Hotel in Arusha for Leisure, Dinner, and Overnight.

Day 2: ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK FOR GAME DRIVES.

The Tarangire national park covers an undulating area of 2,850 km², characterized by open woodlands dotted with hundreds of majestic baobab trees, boasting a massive density of wildlife, flora, and fauna species. The park is primarily famous for big herds of Elephants and a surprising number of Wildebeests and Zebras, rapidly scattered throughout the woodlands and beneath the Tarangire River, a river in which the park took its name. Buffaloes, giraffes, fringe-eared Oryx Gazelles, Impala, Mongoose, Hartebeest, Crocodiles, and hippos also claim the sanctuary their home of all times, feeding on shoots, bushes, grasses, acacias, and preys. Lions are also common and sometimes wild dogs, Cheetahs, Hyenas, and Leopard can be spotted. As you drive into different parts of the park in search of incredible, your professional driver-guide will surprise you with his skills in locating and interpreting wildlife and its behaviors. Tarangire is also the best bird-watching site with more than 500 species recorded, such as; francolins, parrots, starlings, Ostriches, hornbills, etc. You shall have your lunch at the picnic point inside the park, And later after authentic wildlife game drives and game viewings, you will be transferred to your accommodation for Dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: TARANGIRE TO LAKE MANYARA FOR GAME DRIVES TO LAKE EYASI

At 830hrs, Leave the lodge with your packed lunches, drive to Lake Manyara for game drives and game viewing. Later, drive further to Lake Eyasi. Overnight at Lake Eyasi Lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included.

Lake Manyara national park is a small beautiful wildlife sanctuary nestling at the base of the African Great Rift Valley. The park covers an area of 325 km 2 whereby its large portion of its land is dominated by an alkaline lake which serve as; a feeding ground for large flocks of flamingos and many aquatic birds. The park is multihabitat, ranging from acacia woodlands, rocky escarpments, and grassy floodplains, both providing beautiful sceneries, and atmosphere. The park is a corridor for the great migration of large herds of mammals. And the narrow belt of acacia woodland is the favorite playground of Manyara`s fabulous tree-climbing lions. On your game drives, you shall also see groups of Elephants and giraffes feeding on Acacia’s twigs, Hippopotamus enjoying bathe in their pools or troops of baboons grooming and harassing each other, Zebras, in conjunction with wildebeests grazing on short grasses accompanied by egrets and hornbills that benefit from aggressive disturbed insects. Blue monkeys, buffaloes, and many other antelopes roam in this sanctuary too. Lake Manyara also supports a wide array of birdlife species such as barbets, ibis, heron, spoonbill, weavers, and many other numberings to 400 species. You shall have your lunch at the picnic point inside the park, And later after authentic wildlife game drives and game viewings, you will be transferred to Lake Eyasi for Dinner and Overnight at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge.

Day 4: FULL DAY OF CULTURAL ACTIVITIES WITH HADZABE TRIBE.

This day is genuinely dedicated at exploring, discovering, learning, experiencing and enjoying the African culture of the Hadzabe tribe and their neighbors Datoga. Activities Include; Traditional hunting, nature walk, general historical, socially, traditionally backgrounds, and many other fun activities. Thereafter, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included. 

The hadzabe are an indigenous ethnic group of people living in central rift valley in Lake Eyasi. They are among very few tribes in Tanzania that still live their primitive life. The Hadzabe are not closely related to any of the tribes in Tanzania but their lifestyle resembles the Bushmen of Kalahari. Hadzabe mostly depends on traditional hunting and wild fruits gathering for their daily living. Their history and traditional ways of life are amazing to learn, explore, and experience theoretically and practically. Hadzabe is a kind-hearted and welcoming people, ready to share their valued history, culture, taboos, traditions, and customs. Everything will be naturally locally organized just to give you a genuine feelings and image of the ever lived African ancestors. Have you ever gone on traditional hunting with bows, arrows, spears and clubs accompanied by dogs as your back up army?  It sounds fun stalking at agile Dik-dik or setting ambush on African hare, pulling arrow strings at hidden Impala or tracking kudu`s footprints. Every moment with Hadzabe is worth experience. Isn`t amazing walking bush to bush searching for wild fruits and berries while enjoying spectacular landscapes. Despite of learning their history, experiencing their daily lives, embarking on hutting, fruit gathering and nature expeditions, you will also have a chance to learn different uses of plants as food and medicines. After spending your time with locals, you be transferred to Ngorongoro Conservation area for Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Tortilis Tented Camp.

Day 5: GAME DRIVES IN NGORONGORO CRATER, TRANSFER TO ARUSHA.

Morning game drives and game viewings inside the Ngorongoro crater floor with packed Lunch boxes. Thereafter, drive to Arusha. Overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge. Bed & Breakfast Included.

Below the Ngorongoro crater floor, there are lives of amazing wild creatures dramatically carpeting the land in different colors and styles, making the area the most marvelous place on earth to indulge for spectacular game drives and game viewings in search of incredible big cats and the remained endangered black rhinoceros. This 2000 ft. deep intact volcanic caldera was formed after an extensive volcanic eruption. It’s also comprised of two smaller Craters of Olmoti and Empakai perfect destinations for pure nature hiking and walking safaris. Wildebeests, Buffaloes, Hyenas, Waterbucks, Jackals, Elephants, Lions, Zebras, Leopards, Hippos, Baboons, Mongoose and monkeys, Elands and many other wildlife species alongside hundreds of bird species e.g. Ostriches, Starlings, Bustards, Eagles etc. live here and can be spotted during game drives. You will have your lunches at the picnic site inside the crater floor before proceeding with game drives. Later after exploration hours, you will ascend the crater walls and drive back to Arusha for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight at Ilboru Safari Lodge.

Day 6: AIRPORT DROP OFF FOR YOUR FLIGHT BACK HOME.

Today at leisure depending on your flight schedule you will be transferred to the airport.

After hundreds miles of good memories and incredible experiences, it is time to fly back home. Your driver guide or our company`s representative will pick you up at your Hotel and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight back home. And that will be the end of our services.
