Aberdare The national park lies 160km northeast of Nairobi located in central highlands of Kenya east of the East African rift valley in Nyeri/Nyandarua district, and thus there are two different ways on How to Access Aberdare National Park which are by both Air and Road.

By road

For visitors already in Nyeri town, the park headquarters are 15 Kilometers from Nyeri town and thus can use the Nyeri, Nyahururu road.

By Air

The another alternative way on how to access this park is by air, there are usually daily scheduled charter flights that operate to the nearby airstrips close to the National Park. The nearest airstrip is the Mweiga Airstrip on the opposite side from Park headquarters along Nyeri, Nyahururu road near Sasini Estate Farm, and another one is the Nanyuki Airstrip.
