Rushaga Gorilla Lodge

Rushaga Gorilla Lodge is an amazing facility south of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, there is half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas living within the ecosystem, the midrange facility is a great starting point for trekking about only 10 minutes away from the Rusahga gate, the lodge offers unforgettable experiences through favorable rates and a variety of amenities with rooms named after the famous gorilla groups of the sector(Mishaya, Kahungye, Nshongi, Bweza, Kutu, Rwigi and Busingye), guest have the perfect opportunity to experience the breath taking views of the forest and the Kigezi highlands as well as engaging in community activities like the Batwa.

Location

The midrange facility is located in the southern part of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The Lodge can be accessed by road or Air; it takes approximately 9 hours by road from Entebbe or 6 hours by car from Rwanda. By air charter, or scheduled flights can be arranged to the Kisoro airstrip.

Rooms

Rushaga Gorilla Lodge features 20cabins dotted along a hillside with private balconies commanding views of the forest and the surrounding community. They are equipped with modern facilities and services. Warm bottles are provided due to the cold environment, and self-contained bathrooms offer both hot and cold water.
