About the Lodge
Papa’s Camp is one of the newest facilities and an addition to the Wildplaces portfolio. It is named after Ernest Hemingway, who almost lost his life not once but on 2 plane crashes while trying to view one of Africa’s greatest wonders, Murchison Falls! It is set in vintage and a time back reminder of how it looked back in the day, Papa’s camp offers spectacular views that one can enjoy almost exclusively in the untampered with surrounding and ecosystem. The camp is a hidden gym situated on the southern bank, secluded with beauty, situated 20 kilometers upstream of the Nile.
Location
Papa’s Camp is located along the southern Bank of the River Nile in Murchison Falls National Park. The camp can be accessed by road from Entebbe, approximately 6 6-hour drive to the conservation area. It can also be accessed by air from the Entebbe International Airport. The closest airstrip to the Camp is Bugungu.
Rooms
The Luxury camp is equipped with 5 intimate ensuite tents and outdoor showers, each of the rooms showcases dramatic views of the Nile while you experience the roar like sound of the Nile as you sleep, it is extra ordinary and the rooms can be arranged as singles, doubles and twin rooms taking a capacity of up to 10 guests maximum.
