About the lodge

Mahogany Springs Lodge is nestled in the Buhoma sector of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, making it ideal for travelers seeking adventure and relaxation. It is one of the few lodges in the ecosystem that can accommodate all types of travelers. It is a perfect base to begin your gorilla trekking safari experience, offering spectacular views of the forest and the surrounding superb gardens. The wonderful lodge has been welcoming guests to the country for about 11 years, with an amazing team of welcoming staff sharing their expertise and excellent services with travelers. Subedi and his team manage the lodge.

Location

Mahogany Springs Lodge is situated in the northern sector of Bwindi, a 5-to 10-minute walk from the park entrance. From Entebbe, the lodge is best accessed by air from the Entebbe International airport into Kihihi airstrip; it can also be accessed by road for about 10 10-hour drive from Kampala or Entebbe.

Rooms

The luxurious Lodge comprises 14 luxury cottages categorized into 12 superior deluxe suites and 2 premium deluxe suites. These are surrounded by beautiful gardens offering panoramic views of the dropping valley. All rooms are placed with terraces and ensuite bathrooms running both cold and warm water, a generous mosquito net, a closet, a safe deposit box, and a perfect view of the forest.
