About the Lodge

Wildwaters Lodge Jinja is dramatically placed along the escalating River Nile in Uganda’s industrial and tourism town, Jinja, roughly six hectares on Kalagala Island. Its prime location can only be accessed by boat, making it a very adventurous place to stay, and it is uniquely picturesque don granite rocks in the river; the soothing sound of the river is amazing to experience. The award-winning lodge is a perfect place to experience the vast bird list of Uganda, famous for the great blue turaco, African fish Eagles, as well as cuckoos, and is an intimate, perfect location for honeymooners.

Location

The amazing Lodge is in the eastern part of Uganda in Jinja district. It can be best accessed by road, approximately a 3–4-hour drive from Kampala. The lodge can also be accessed by air; charter flights can be arranged to the destination.

Rooms

The ten stand-alone elevated rooms are placed on stone dropping down to the water rapids, the standard chalets are 9, and 1 family cottage. Each of these is characterized by canvas walls, timber floors, and is spacious, with a king-size bed, safe deposit box, well-maintained ensuite facilities, like a flush toilet, wash basin, walk-in showers, and complimentary toiletries.
