Arcadia Cottages

Arcadia cottages is located in the Lake Mburo National Park, the conservation area is the nearest of savannah parks in Uganda closer to the city areas, it is underlined by Precambrian rocks covered mostly by water bodies, the Park is named after the Lake Mburo found within the park, a visit to the protected area is supported by a comfortable place to stay and the cottages are just perfect for the purpose, the rustic rooms offer sweeping views of the surrounding views filled with wildlife while the restaurant serves mouth dropping meals to travelers, it is strategically placed about 2km from the park headquarters of Rwonyo.

Location

The Lodge is located in Lake Mburo National Park, approximately 6 hours drive from Entebbe via the Kampala-Masaka highway. The lodge can also be accessed by air with flights landing at the Mbarara airstrip.

Arcadia Cottages offers accommodation in 8 self-contained cottages. These have been designed to blend with the environment in which they have been built and provide a comfortable stay. Each of these features has an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, a flush toilet, complimentary toiletries, cosy towels and bed linens, mosquito nets, coffee and tea making facilities, stools, and a reading table.
