About the Lodge

Tarangire Sopa Lodge is nestled in the Tarangire national park in the northern part if Tanzania, the park is home to several animal species including the big five of the African wilderness(Lions, Leopards, elephants,bufalloes, Rhinos), it is named after the River Tarangire flowing along its base, and is home to the highest concentration of elephants in eh country after along day of safari experiences in the park the lodge would be the perfect place to relax, adventure and feel comfortable, it is built to blend in with the surrounding ecosystem it is hidden among the rock kopjes ancient baobab trees, open savannah grasses.

Location

The lodge is in Tarangire National Park, approximately 129 kilometres from Arusha. Charter or scheduled flights can be arranged to the nearest Kuro airstrip.

Rooms

Tarangire Sopa Lodge comprises of 75 rooms some of these are interconnecting rooms and 2 wheelchair accessible rooms, these are arranged in different room categories, each of these features ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water, lounge area, private balconies overlooking the park, mini bar, chairs, clean bed linen, mosquito nets, hair dryers, satellite television, ceiling fans, flushing toilet, tea and coffee making facilities.
