About the Lodge

Solio Lodge is nestled in the heart of Solio Game reserve in between the peaks of Aberdare Mountains and the slopes of Mountain Kenya, it is the only guest accommodation in the conservation area offering the best safari experiences to travelers, internationally the region has been recognized for a success in Rhino breeding sanctuaries in East Africa, the wildlife experience is on exclusive 19,000 acres of conservancy surrounded by a 45,000 acres of ranch within just the property area, it is a great place for guests seeking for style, comfort, and adventure there is so much to see while at the Lodge besides Rhinos like leopards, giraffes, zebras, lions and leopards.

Location

Soloi Lodge is located in the Solio Game Reserve. By air, it can be accessed from Nairobi to Nanyuki airstrip, followed by a one-and-a-half-hour drive to the Lodge; by road, it takes approximately 4 hours.

Rooms

The Lodge has just 5 cozy, intimate, luxurious cottages, each one with a spacious ensuite floor-to-ceiling glass windows commanding views of the game reserve and the backdrop of Mountain Kenya and Aberdare ranges. Each of the rooms features a balcony, dressing gowns, mini bar, shower, fireplace, lounge area, tea and coffee making facilities, bath, in-room safe, and ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water.
