About the Lodge
Porini Rhino Camp is one of the best luxury facilities in ol Pejeta Conservancy the only place of the country to find the highest concentration of black Rhinos besides the rhinos the area range is highly populated with several other animal species including the big ive of the African wilderness(Lions, leopards, buffaloes, Elephants and Rhinos) the intimate Camp offers an opportunity for travelers to enjoy wildlife while immersing into the great Kenyan hospitality adhering to eco friendly and tourism principles of sustainability, the camp has a picture hideout where photographers can perfectly take wildlife coming to the waterhole and saltlick without interruption.
Location
The Camp is located within 90,000 hectares Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Laikipia, central Kenya. By road, it takes approximately 3-4 hours to drive from Nairobi. The camp can also be accessed by air from the Wilson International airport; it takes approximately 45-minute flight.
Rooms
Porini Rhino Camp has just 9 tents, which are spacious and have private verandas. These are traditionally themed safari canvas tents with bright floors and walls of mosquito screen. The beds are cosy and comfortable and can be arranged as double, single or twin room occupancy, room amenities include a wash basin sink, writing desks with lamps, carpets, chairs, and tables, hot water bottles, and ensuite bathrooms
