About the Lodge

Lewa Wilderness is one of the first safari lodges in Kenya, offering exceptional wildlife experiences. While at the lodge, it is ideal for travelers seeking adventure, comfort, and incredible safari experiences. A stay at the camp goes beyond just accommodation; it is filled with new findings, memorable experiences, and indulging in the vast Wildlife animals present in the Lewa. It is home to the big five of the African wildernesses: lions, leopards, buffalo, Rhinos, and elephants. For more than 40 years, guests have been coming to visit the facility and have the best experiences. The camp is one of the first homes and is still home to Craig and Emma’s guests.

Location

Lewa Wilderness is located in the heart of Lewa Conservancy. It can be accessed by road, approximately 5 hours drive from Nairobi, and about an hour to the nearest airstrip in the conservancy.

Rooms

Lewa wilderness comprises of 9 luxurious thatched cottages these include 1 bedroom garden cottage,4 1 bedroom hillside cottages and 3 2 bedroom cottages, the 2 bedroom cottages are perfect for families with children each of the cottages features an r suite bathroom running both cold and hot water, complimentary toiletries, wash basin, large wooden beds dressed as m comfortable linen, tea and coffee making facilities.
