About the Lodge
Laragai House is situated in the Borana Conservancy along the northern slopes of Mountain Kenya on the Laikipia plateau. The 28,000-acre protected area is home to both black and white Rhinos and a wide variety of endangered species. The house is built in the aspect of a family home, great for groups or families, it sleeps up to 16 people in the 8 bedrooms. The warm, welcoming staff members are highly experienced to ensure that guests’ stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The property prides itself on offering guests an exceptional farm-to-table experience based on ingredients sourced from the Farm.
Location
The House is located in Borana conservancy approximately 6 6-hour drive from Nairobi. The region can also be accessed by flight from Wilson International Airport to the nearby airstrips.
Rooms
Laragai House comprises 8 bedrooms that are ideal for families and large groups on holiday. The accommodation includes four double rooms and four twin rooms, each of which features an ensuite bathroom with both hot and cold water, a dining room, complimentary toiletries, cozy woolen rugs, fire pits, bedside lamps, and a reading table. All rooms have been strategically built overlooking the mountain Kenya.
