About the Lodge.

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge is an angelic facility dotted along the edge of the western rift valley region adorably overlooking the Lake Nakuru filled with pink flamingoes and surrounding areas of the conservation area, the lake is surrounded by various types of wetlands from mud flats to marshes and ponds the alkaline water harbors a bloom of blue green algae habouring aquatic species including fish and several amphibians, this water condition attracts thousands of pink flamingoes, the amazing lodge is under the management of the sopa lodges offering comfortable, stylish and luxurious accommodation for travelers into the country and is run on energy that is sustainable to the environment.

Location

The Lodge is located in Nakuru National Park, approximately 165 km from Nairobi by road. It can also be accessed by flight for 30-minute flight from Wilson International Airport to Naishi airstrip and 15 15-minute drive to the Lodge from the airstrip.

Rooms

Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge accommodates guests in 120 guest rooms, 2 of which are wheelchair accessible. All rooms have double rooms and balconies overlooking the lake; the balcony is furnished with a rear glass door from which you can enjoy views of the animals drinking from the nearby waterholes. These are equipped with ensuite bathrooms, personal mini bars, telephones, and hair dryers
