About the camp

Il Ngwesi Lodge is an intimate luxury camp along the foot hills of Mountain Kenya, set on a private conservancy, it is a rusty authentic lodge a stay here feels more like taking you back in time at the same moment, it is charm in the wilderness loved by several travelers including the royals and celebrities , the lodge is perfect for travelers seeking for adventure , comfort, authenticity and style there is a real connection to wildlife from the birds singing swiftly in the air to animals like elephants frequenting the waterhole and fresh animal paths. It is one of the first Kenyan Lodges to be owned by the community in this case Mukogodo Masaka community.

Location

The facility is located along the foot hills of Mountain Kenya in a private conservancy charter flights can be arranged to the Ii Ngwesi airstrip or scheduled flights to the Lewa airstrip after which 2 hours’ drive to the Lodge

Rooms

Ii Ngwesi Lodge comprises of 6 luxury tents built on the Rocky hill side connected with well-maintained paths. These spacious tents are named from 1 to 6, some of which are perfect for families as they have a connection with small wooden decks each of the tents features an en-suite bathroom running both hot and cold water.
