About the Camp
HammerKop migration camp is an intimate luxury lodge located in the Masai Mara NationalPark upstream on the Mara River for the great wildebeest migration. The annual crossing of the river is a magical experience, creating everlasting memories for travellers to the conservation area. It is one of the 7 wonders of the world. The luxury Safari Lodge is situated along the River Musaira and is also known for common sightings of the leopard and several other species, making it a suitable haven for wildlife lovers and adventure seekers. It’s being small and yet exclusive that offers travelers the best of what the park has to offer.
Location
HammerKopis is located in the heart of Masai Mara National Park, approximately a 5-6-hour drive from Nairobi through the Great Rift Valley region. It can also be accessed by air from Nairobi Wilson Airport, approximately
45 minutes to Musaira Airstrip.
Rooms
Hammerkop features only seven rooms, each of which extends with a private Veranda, King size beds that can be arranged as twins, double or single rooms with 1 large family tent that includes a small sitting area, room amenities include safe deposit box, beds made from strong wood, small desk, toiletries, mosquito nets and ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water.
