The facility was built by one of Africa’s greatest conservationists, Murray Grant and his wife Sophie. It offers an authentic rustic experience to guests

The facility is angelically placed along the foothills of Mountain Kenya, north of Nanyuki.

El Karama Lodge features 10 units categorized into the original thatched band as best recommended for families with children, river cottage, the hobbit house and the Nilotica private suite, all rooms comprise an r suite bathroom running both cold and warm water, wash basin, complimentary toilets, spacious private verandas overlooking the mountain region, private pools, the private suite takes up to a maximum of 10 guests.
