About the Lodge

Buhoma Lodge is placed in the heart of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, offering uninterrupted views of the home of mountain gorillas. It is famous for its good service and attention to detail, giving a homey feel. The lodge has been constructed from local material powered by solar. The open lounge and bar area overlooks the forest, with occasional visits from monkeys and birds from the forest. Buhoma lodge is one of the 2 lodges inside the park in the Buhoma sector, offering a cozy spot to sit back and dive into comfort, adventure, and amazing, uninterrupted views of the forest.

Location

The lodge is located in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the Buhoma sector, just at the entrance of the park. Daily flights can be arranged from the Kihihi airstrip, the closest airstrip to Buhoma.

Rooms

Buhoma Lodge features 10 eco-friendly, spacious chalets with private balconies overlooking the forest; one of the rooms is a family chalet. All rooms are characterized by an ensuite bathroom, flush toilet, some have bathtubs as well as showers, individual safes, charging facilities in rooms, and complimentary toiletries. Each of the rooms is thoroughly designed to blend nature and offer comfort.
