Borana Lodge

About the Lodge

Borana Lodge is nestled in the heart of Borana conservancy, perched on the hilly side commanding views of the private reserve from each private deck, it is designed with the main house in which guests and guides are comfortable to take a drink or have lunch and dinner, and is created out of local materials by local craftsmen, it is among the original eco Lodge sin northern Kenya first welcoming its guests in the 1993, and have had an adventure since then, they played a big role in securing a safe place for Rhinos at a time when poaching the animals was at its worst.

Location

The Lodge is located in the Borana conservancy. It can be accessed by road from Nairobi for approximately a 6-hour drive, and flights to the conservation area can be arranged from Wilson International Airport.

Rooms

Borana Lodge features 8 guest rooms, these are categorized into family cottages, double cottages, twins and singles, 4 of the rooms have larger beds, and all remaining rooms have private verandas commanding Views of the surrounding private area, ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water and are spacious, a fireplace set every night, showers, wash basins, complimentary toiletries, mosquito nets.
