The Ark, situated in the heart of Aberdare National Park, is a property of Marasa Africa offering an incredible stay to travelers. It is iconic, stylish, and comfortable, overlooking the floodlit waterhole and salt lick; the lodge resembles Noah’s ark and was named after this. It comprises 3 decks with numerous balconies and lounges with great views of wildlife. It also has 4 viewing areas to see animals. It also has a unique ground-level banker where, unaware, famous pictures of wildlife are taken from the salt lick area. The Lodge is a great experience for travelers seeking adventure.

Location

The 5-star facility is located in Aberdare National Park, approximately a 2-hour drive from Nairobi capital city. Flights can be arranged from Wilson International Airport, which takes about 30 minutes to the Lodge.

Rooms

The lodge boasts 60 rooms located on decks offering great views of wildlife from the National Park. Room configurations range from single rooms, double rooms, and triple rooms, which have been designed for families. All rooms command views of the Floodlit waterhole. These are designed in a perfect African style featuring an ensuite bathroom, shower basin, and flush toilet, and complimentary toiletries.
