About the Lodge Serengeti Sopa Lodge is placed within the central Serengeti overlooking an escarpment to the southwestern part of the national park, it is home to thousands of wildlife including the big five of the African wildernesses (Lions, Leopards, elephants, buffaloes and Rhinos), together with several animal species, it is iconic for the great wildebeest migrations thousands of animals cross through the park together with their predators in search of greener pastures, in general the park comprises exceptional ecosystems including riverine forests, open savannah grasslands, valleys and swamps. The property presents an opportunity to enjoy the best of the national park. Location The Lodge is located in Serengeti National Park, approximately 6 hours drive from Arusha. Charter or scheduled flights can be arranged to the nearest airstrip in the park.
