About the Lodge

Serena Mivumo Lodge is placed in the heart of Tanzania’s Selous Game Reserve. It is the perfect place to begin your journey of experiencing the conservation areas. The boutique Lodge is located along the banks of the River Rufiji with stunning views of Stieglers gorge. The 12 luxurious rooms offer comfortable accommodation raised on wooden platforms, with a private deck and plunge pool. Guests have the chance to enjoy a typical African safari experience from the variety of amenities and activities the lodge has to offer, for example, game drives, guided nature walks, boat experiences, swim at the welcoming infinity pool, or just sit back and relax.

Location

The Lodge is located in Nyerere National Park, approximately 45 minutes from Dar-es-salaam, and after a 30-minute transfer to the camp.

Serena Mivumo Lodge comprises of 13 rooms, 12 spacious chalets and 1 suite within which are 2 bedrooms each with a separate bathroom and private deck, all rooms straddle along the river to ensure privacy and exclusivity, room amenities include dedicated butler services, all inclusive wines, mini bar, hair dryer, telephone, Torch, ceiling fan, laundry fans, ensuite bathrooms, flush toilets.
