Roho Ya Selous is an angelic luxury camp located in the heart of Nyerere national park formally known as the Selous game reserve, the Lodge name is derived for a local Swahili word simply meaning “Heart/Soul” of Selous, it is strategically placed on a small peninsula overlooking the Lake Nzerakera in the core of the game reserve, it is a perfect place for travelers seeking for adventure, cozy, intimate and luxurious style besides the comfortable stay the camp is as well great to begin exploring the conservation area through guided game drives, nature walks, and boat experiences.

Location

Roho Ya Selous is situated in the heart of Nyerere National Park, approximately 45 minutes by flight from Dar-es-salaam to Beho Beho Airstrip

Rooms

Roho Ya Selous boasts 8 intimate tents, one of which is a family tent, and they are spaced apart for privacy and exclusivity. Each of the tents features an ensuite bathroom running both hot and cold water, open-sided verandas overlooking the vast savannah landscape, and a lounge, complimentary toiletries, a twin or double bed arrangement covered with a generous mosquito net, tea and coffee making facilities.
