About the Lodge

One and Only Nyungwe House is an intimate luxury facility in the heart of Nyungwe Forest National Park, the forest is one of Africa’s oldest rain forest areas harbouring several animal, birds, tree and plant species, it is famous for Chimpanzee tracking experience, canopy walk, guided nature walks, birding safaris and Black and white colobus monkey tracking, the Lodge is surrounded by forest and a range of mountain back drop, it is a haven for comfort where the wild comes to reality before your eyes for travelers seeking relaxation and adventure, Nyungwe house is a great choice during our trip to Rwanda.

Location

The house is in the southwestern part of Rwanda and south of Lake Kivu. It takes approximately 6 hours to drive to arrive at the ecosystem. Flights can be arranged from the Kigali international airport through Akagera Aviation

Rooms

One and Only Nyungwe House features 22 luxury rooms and suites placed in eight amazing villas. They are all designed to blend with the environment within which they are built. Room amenities include open fireplaces in each room, burned with a fragrance, private decks, locally made textiles and artwork, ensuite bathrooms running both hot and cold water, and complimentary toiletries.
